“Remnants for Rebirth,” is representative of the deep and enduring feelings of angst, vulnerability and connectivity
that I have experienced during these times of chaos and unrest. This series culminates with the current COVID-19 pandemic,
as well as the confrontation of deep racial divide in our country as revealed most keenly via the Black Lives Matter movement.
As an artist the most honest thing to do is respond with work that is created with the deepest personal expression
of authenticity, and this body of 14 paintings is my attempt at that.
